[Chrysler300] re toilet seat assembly on trunk lid

Happy new year to all of you folks in the 300 group. I have a friend who recently acquired a nice 1959 plymouth 2 dr ht and is looking for a replacement centre piece (appears to be made out of aluminum) for the rear trunk deck (some folks call them the toilet seat). Would they have used the same centre piece on chryslers and plymouth of similar years?
    Thanks from Fern
