Having survived a home fire that resulted in the total gutting of
the homestead I can offer this.
IF you find that you have a major fire disaster RECORD KEEPING
WILL BE PARAMOUNT!!!

Especially in California with Countrywide being a major lender in
that area.  They were a real hassle to deal with in the
rebuilding process for us.

You need to keep AND document so much that the need for a
secretary just might surface. AND you cann't let up on your
record keeping efforts until after the last claims are all over
and done with (at least 9 months later probably).
