Thank you again Ray and Jo Ann - you planned and managed a very nice meet and it is even more impressive knowing you did it from long-range in Mena.

Barb and I had a great time.  We especially enjoyed meeting many fellow Club members for the first time and making new friends.  Of course I'm always happy just looking over all the 300's and other Mopars.  I'm especially thankful for the members that manage to get their cars to the meet from far across the country.

I'll be getting info out to everyone in the next few weeks about our Spring meet in Eagle River, Wisconsin and will be doing my best to assure everyone has a good time in out Great Northwoods.   Thanks again to that group of people giving me some meet activity ideas at about 11:45 pm Sat. eve.  I'll be working on that idea to sit-out all nite to watch for the Northern Lights or possibly going to Spaulding, MI to watch the mysterious lights there.  Maybe we can combine that with an old-fashioned Hodag hunt.

  It certainly was a great time! Ray and Jo Ann did a wonderful job selecting the hotel and arranging all the details. We had people come to the meet from Maine to California and from Wisconsin to Florida. There were also several first time members and cars. 

  Ray is also the club's meet coordinator and has more coming, hopefully to a town near you. Next year's meets take us to Wisconsin the spring and Maine in the Fall. In 2009 we'll be in Pennsylvania and Missouri. Look for details in the Club News, on the listserver and on the website.

  Kudos to Joanne & Ray Jones for hosting a superb meet in Springfield this week. I just arrived home safely and so did RJ to Denver. The activities and attractions were spectacular. The hotel was very comfortable and user friendly. The parking lot was very amenable to club antics. The cars were great BUT the PEOPLE were the best!! Thanks again to Joanne & Ray for providing another great venue for our family reunion! Counting the days until the Eagle River Meet! ROB KERN
