Thanks to Fern and George for responding to my question about the eBay auction for a 1966 300M medallion. Based on these responses I went to the seller with a follow-up question through the eBay system. His response is copied below this paragraph. This item certainly smells fishy. The value is in the history but the history has remain a secret. I know anything is possible when it comes to old Chryslers, I think I can see the real secret here. My concern is for those who are new to the hobby and might not exercise due diligence. Steve Ham "" Hi, I promised the family I would not disclose names. The emblem has NEVER been mounted, nor were any prototypes produced other than in clay. It mounts with a threaded stud just like J,K, and L emblems. No part #s or date codes on the reverse. It is convex front, concave rear. www.mmpar.com for more MoPar Thanks, Frank ""________________________________________________________________ Sent via the WebMail system at email.dnet.net To send a message to this group, send an email to: Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx For list server instructions, go to http://www.chrysler300club.com/yahoolist/inst.htm For archives go to http://www.forwardlook.net/300-archive/ Yahoo!
