Kiekhaefer asked Chrysler to produce one 56 300B convertible so that he
could evaluate it for use in
the convertible NASCAR circuit, a new circuit in 1956.  He quickly evaluated
it in Wisconsin and sent
it back to Chrysler as unsuitable.  I've spoken to the truck driver who
picked up the car at Chrysler,
and returned it.  What a find that would be, eh?

  I went to the Hoosier Auto swap today and avoided arguing with an older
  gentleman about him having a 55 300 convertible, he also said they made
  11 of them. I Didnt try and correct him because I dont know any better,
  ALtho I susspect that they were not made. ???
