[Chrysler300] Ethanol

I'm sure everyone knows this but might be worth repeating. Becauses of ethanol's "flash point", it's instaneous burn in the cylinder yields no "mile per gallon". If you have 20% ethanol per gallon in your tank, you have only 8/10 of a gallon of fuel which will yield a mile per gallon rating. In other words, you need 1.2 gallons of ethanol laced fuel to equal the 1 gallon of gasoline you used to buy in "the old days".It really bites that we are paying $3 per gallon but only getting 8/10 gallon of useable fuel. Then of course is the theorum that if you fill up with 20% ethanol fuel and don't use your car for a while, does the 20% really evaporate from your tank?

Moral of the story: Shop around for ethanol-free fuel!!!
