[Chrysler300] Casting numbers on 392 '300' Heads & Intakes.

Hello to those 300 enthusiasts with a special interest in the 57-58
300's
I have an interest in correct numbers, along with correctly identifying
300 components. So I was wondering if anyone could shed some extra light
on the following:
I have noted from the Chrysler "Part number codes" of the period:
1957-58 New Yorker, Imperial & Crown Imperial 392 Head, was "Part
number" 1737809, whilst its Casting number was "1731528". The casting
number is clearly different to the part number, and this is
understandable, since many common castings can have different machine
operations making them ultimately a different part number.
Thus 1957-58 "300" 392 Head was "Part number" 1828122, whilst it's
casting number was also 1731528? Although one of the Hemi rebuild books
calls up a casting number 1735282?, which I have been advised was a
Dodge Truck head casting number?
It would seem to me that different machine operations for the 300 heads,
normally common casting number 1731528, would bring rise to the 300
heads with removable exhaust valve seats, thus "Part number" 1828122,
While the Regular 392 heads may not have had removable exhaust valves
seats, so their common casting number 1731528, became part number
1737809.
Gang, can anyone else shed some light on how to readily identify
standard 392 heads to 300 392 heads from looking at them? Since the
casting numbers may be the same? Along with any other differences in
these beasts? Also would any guys with snaps of their engine rebuilds
confirm casting numbers on the 392 300 heads for the different years
57-58?
Also I believe the inlet manifold for the '57 2x4 is "Part number "
1733477, whilst the '58, or some of the '58 2x4's is Part number
1826105. Was the 58 a lower manifold than 57? Is this the difference?,
and what were the respective casting numbers if not the same.
Did any '58 300D's find themselves with '57 carburetors?
Some food for thought, love to get some feedback.
Best Regards
Sean in OZ.
