Hi John and All, I thought there was direct coding on the build sheets to indicate a 3 speed stick car (for the 300)? I ran into this years ago when looking at a 3spd. G conv. I've been running under the impression that there is no documented way of telling the authenticity of a 3 spd. car. Is this wrong? Best regards, Richard Osborne >>> "John@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx" <John@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> 07/06/07 8:03 am >>> Good morning, I just ran across this on Ebay. It is for a 1961 300G with a three speed manual. I am fairly sure I spoke to the owner about a year ago and am pretty sure that the build sheet did not support a manual transmission on this particular car. The car is in #4 condition.apparently mostly complete but in need of a full restoration. No vin number is listed but the data plate is shown. Car was built in June of '61. I would encourage verifying the build sheet before buying. I sent a note asking for the vin so I could recheck my notes. SO Number is 0626 8486.
