[Chrysler300] Re:highway hi fi

The RCA unit which Chrysler offered '59-61 was a Chrysler exclusive as far as I know as far as being dealership installed however there was no reason it could not be purchased or taken out of a Mopar and put in other cars such as a Ford. On the Highway Hi-Fi and the RCA there was no Mopar identification whatsoever nor any blank area for brand ID to be added. There was also a knock-off or 'clone' if you will of the RCA by a company named ARC! The RCA and ARC were very similar. When we were all playing 45s, the RCA and ARC 45 players were quite popular. The Highway Hi-Fi as much as any other factor was killed by its ability to only play the exclusive 16 rpm records which it was felt were less likely to skip at that speed.
