    I may be wrong, but I heard, on a television show, that Craig
Jackson was in partnership with the Speed channel for the rights to
broadcast the show.

The commercials are the only way that the Speed Channel can afford to
broadcast the auction for hours on end.  Unfortunately...unless you have
a TIVO box to fast forward past the commercials, it is what it is.

 Is it just me, but isn't there at least 30 minutes+ of
 advertising for every hour of coverage ? Also, it looks like the
 auctioneers are starting to loose their grip with all the
 adjustments-mid stream - of actual money bid.
