Contact bolt in solenoid; it is sticking to a worn contact. Current sticks it while running starter, loss of field due keyed to "off" and return spring too weak to disconnect. Remember, current to starter is direct to battery. Key only activates solenoid. Could also be due to some residual mag field in starter, but doubt it.
