[Chrysler300] Calendar Art & Torsion Bars

California-Nevada members may want to try and get a 2007 Straw Hat Pizza
Calendar. It includes reproductions of ads for 13 different cars of the
'40's, '50's and '60's. January features a 10" X 10" color print of an
orangey-red 1957 Chrysler 300-C coupe, viewed head-on and low. Young stud
at the wheel and a laughing blonde girl enjoying the trip. "An effortless
climb up the Sierras in your new CHRYSLER 300 C". "The '57 300-C is still
considered by many to be the most beautiful and desirable 300 of them all.
Quad headlights were available for the first time and the 300-C could do 60
mph in 8.4 seconds or less." "AMERICA'S GREATEST PERFORMING CAR". "375 HP"

Has our Club, or anyone ever prepared an all-Chrysler 300 calendar? Seems
like with 11 lettercars and the Hurst, it would be a natural.

It must be an old shot as there are no potholes visible in the two-lane
blacktop and the road is neatly plowed and dry. This is the only MoPar in
the calendar, but carnuts will probably enjoy each month's picture--and
there are free pizza coupons each month.

The e-mail below is from the Forward Look server. I don't know if any of
the torsion bars are for Chrysler 300's, but could be. Interesting question
as to whether they only need to be replaced if broken. With the adjustment,
it would seem any sagging could be compensated for.

around here. Headed for Chrysler 300 Club meet in Mesa Monday. Predicted
subfreezing nights, cold days, rain and possibly SNOW there next week!)

Happy New Year to you all.
I thought I'd see if anyone needs some torsion bars. I have a few NOS
ones. I will list the Part Numbers and if anyone is interested, please
contact me off list. I don't know if they need replaced much or if they
need replaced only if they break.
