Hi Pat,

I sell the Pertonix Ignitors that do just what you want.  Both sets of points and the condenser are eliminated.  You should never have to fool with timing again once this unit is installed.   I am completing my restoration of a 300 G. The distributor with 
  duel points & tach drive is my next project. I would like to install electronic
