Hi Matt, have you looked at the horn ring contacts - sometimes they get
corroded. Take off the horn ring cap, unbolt the horn ring and check out
the rubber insulators and contacts. Another check would be to swap horn
locations and see if you then usually only get the low tone. If that
occurs, then it could be a wiring problem. Also, awhile back, John
Hertog posted his method of getting old horns working again. As I
recall, he partially filled them with WD40 and vigorously shook them. On
another matter, some time ago you posted the K&N air filter # that would
fit the 300H. Could you give me that # again and should I get and
increase in air intake?   Doug Warrener

What shall I check on our '62 300 to have both horns blow all the time?
Usually only the High Tone horn blows, though sometimes the Low Tone
horn will chime in. 

I've replaced the secret ground strap at the base of the steering
column.
