Kelsey Hayes brake booster not boosting

The power unit on my 66 rag has lost its enthusiasm for the job and I  
probably need brakes more than engine at this stage of life.  Booster Dewey  tells 
that the K-H unit can be swapped for a Midland Ross that will fit for $214  
delivered to me.  K-H units are not rebuildable as KH stopped supporting  them in 
the late 60s.  What might I expect as the down side to having a  Midland unit 
in place of the KH?  Experience??
