Chrysler : aussie Series windsor?!

I don't know what a '300 Windsor' is in America, but in Australia a "Windsor Smith" is a good brand of cheap shoes - just kidding!! (plus they are now made overseas!!

Real news, or 300 relative wise -
Our 2nd biggest oldest collector car swap is this weekend, at a place called Bendigo which was famous for a gold rush about the time of the US ones - quite a few Americans come over for it, although not much 300 stuff ever there, although lately a few are importing 50s hemi motors for resale - however most going into hotrods which are booming amongst mainly ageing baby boomers.

Ebay seems best source for 300 stuff for us aussies, however lately not too much 300 on there?, and prices either sometimes/often bloody ridiculous/amazing, or who knows? It looked like a good resto project 300C in Arizona ending recently on ebay for/at $20K?!, - suppose this is about what one must pay/expect now ?

Christopher in Australia
ps the only place/State in Australia where there are no speed limits outside Cities, is the Northern Territory, Darwin - as of January max State Limit will be 70 mph, so any lead foot 300 US Drivers better go visit the Northern Territory before then - crocodiles a plenty !! (Victoria was 1st State to introduce set speed limits, in 1971, and in first month I was clocked (by unmarked Police Car following me over about 15 miles) sitting on my then usual country travel speed of 105-112mph - do not know what US States still allow high (300/other) speeds outside Cities today?) And re recently high US 300 Auction prices - forget 300s, an aussie 1967 HK Monaro (which used just a mild Chev 327, and were pretty slow versus US cars) just sold for $220K, double it's (opertimisstic) estimate, whilst a 67 Shelby GT500 fastback only (only !!??) made $175,000. There is no way these Monaros are worth this.
