[Chrysler300] Did You Know?

Hello 300'ly to all!
    What did Eleanor Riehl, Queen Elizabeth II, and Barbara WaWa (Walters) have in common (this isn't Letter Car Jeopardy so don't reach for the bell)?  None of them had a driver's license, and two of them didn't know how to drive! The Queen drives around her estates but doesen't have a driver's license (the Gieco gekho would have fun with this), and neither BaBa or Eleanor drove!  This fact came out in one of my early conversations with Eleanor.  Can you imagine....the Grand Lady of the Chrysler 300 Club International never drove? Upon reflection it just shows what greatness she exhibited in her passion for serving our club. Our priest in this morning's homily spoke about the Lord instructing us how to love.  In essence it was putting our divine gifts to work serving others. For a non-driver to have such a passion and share her talent supporting the drivers of this club is what the Lord was describing.  Don Warnaar in a message several years ago in the Club News wrote a missive about the demographics of the 300 Club International membership.  He mentioned that we had a spectrum of members from ones who could rebuild engines and transmissions in their sleep to members who only understood how to put the key in the ignition.  Add to this the fact that our beloved executive secretary emeritus having been a non-driver gives one the appreciation for what this organization is all about.  A group of devoted people sharing their God given talent in the best way they can to serve others.  ROB KERN
