Al,
    Type A fluid is based on sperm whale oil  and is not available since 
this species is protected.  The recommended transmission fluid for the TF, 
at least for the C, is Type A or F or F/A blend.  We are in this day in age 
at the mercy of only type F availability.  ROB KERN
