I'd think too that since relatively cold gas is going into the tank, that if the vent were plugged, that as the gas and air in the tank warmed, the tank air pressure could increase. Also, withdrawing fuel from a ventless tank would tend to create a vacuum and might lead to a fuel supply problem. ----- Original Message ----- From: "james mcmullan" <macthehammer@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: "Listserver" <Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, July 23, 2006 10:11 AM Subject: [Chrysler300] presure > The only way i can think you could build pressure that fast is to plug the vent and heat the tank .Look for a leek in the exhaust blowing on the tank.Jim McMullan 300 F > > [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] > > > > To send a message to this group, send an email to: > Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > > For list server instructions, go to http://www.chrysler300club.com/yahoolist/inst.htm > > For archives go to http://www.forwardlook.net/300-archive/ > Yahoo!
