[Chrysler300] 300C power steering pump noise

Steve Albu and all y'all,

It is common to have noise in a 300C power steering pump.  I haven't thought about this for years and will have to go digging around for the answer as to why.  There was something changed during production and I'm thinking there is a tech bulletin in my binder explaining the change.  My recollection is that the high pressure hose diameter was altered and it took out the noise but that the pump was unchanged.  Some harmonics sort of problem.

I have a letter from Carl Kiekhaefer to Chrysler bitching about the noise in one of his early 300Cs or maybe it was one of his '57 wagons  (as I recall he had a total of 5 '57 Chryslers!).
