Re: [Chrysler300] Hemmings Collector Car & 300s

When the publisher of Hemming's passed away several years ago, they were
acquired by some big media company. From what I hear the publication is
not being run by "real old car people" anymore. That could explain a
lot. They are not really into what is going one.

Unfortunately with the passing of one of the original Flea Marketeers
Carlisle seems to be going the same way. We got a set if rules for this
spring that read like they were written by someone who never went to an old
car fleamarket. Not like people can't use online market places like Ebay
to buy and sell and then one doesn't have to burn gas to get there or worry
about it raining. These days if you fill a good size gas tank with high
test you probably spend enough to buy some nice parts for your car. With
Carlisle that money gets literally "burned" in getting there.
