Well here's my $.12 cents worth. I feel as long as the basic Cabin is used its still a 300. How many times would a car have to replace a whole front clip or a rear clip or both after a wreck. That didn't make it a non 300 car. I saw my Dad who had a frame and front end shop for 40 years cut a front frame or rear frame off and weld in a replacement from a wrecking yard. It might not have came from a identical car . Just one that was the same. That didn't change the name or type of car. It was still what it was. This was standard practice before the Unibodys came out. and even then they did a lot of frame replacement. They either straightened the frame or replaced it. I never saw him replace a whole frame,. not saying it wasn't done. I believe they called those cars Totaled. But if the main car body was retained it kept its Identify. Just Information to think about.
