Here is the note that I sent regarding the eBay listing for the 300C chassis: What makes you think that the Chrysler 300 Club International will manufacture a phony VIN plate for this chassis or even recognize any bastard 300 that is built from it? Here is his response (unaltered): THERES NOTHING PHONEY ABOUT THIS CHASSIS OR THE vIN PLATE. tHIS IS A 57 300-C CHASSIS WITH ITS ORIGINAL TITLE AND VIN PLATE. THE BODY WAS SO BADLY RUSTED AND DAMAGHED IT COULD NOT BE SAVED. I STILL HAVE THE FIREWALL, COMPLETE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM, ORIGINAL BLOCK ALTHOUGH CRACKED, AND THE ORIGINAL INTERIOR.WHAT MAKES YOU THINK IT WON'T BE ACCEPTED BY THE 300 CLUB IF ITS BUILT BACK WITH A SARATOGA BODY WITH THE 300 FRONT SHEET METAL AND 300 INTERIOR. I ALSO HAVE THE ORIGINAL TORQUEFLITE AND DRIVE SHAFT. BOBBY This guy has a lot to learn.
