Hi Jerry, Based on your description of the repair (replace subframe and possibly the nose sheetmetal), you are quite safe. You would not be "rebodying" the car. You would be doing a necessary repair to the vehicle by replacing damaged components that do NOT include the body itself. There is nothing wrong, or illegal, about the repair you describe.
