Since Gil says our K came to the dealership with the optional AM-FM radio, I'd like to install one. But it's not that easy. One must find the stainless steel mounting plate that has holes for the ignition switch and the radio shafts. Yes, there is a plate for the more common AM radio but I can't use it because the radio shaft holes are way further apart for the AM radio. Does anyone have the AM-FM plate, dash trim, or "bezel", as the parts catalog calls it (#2426 987) that you would like to sell or trade? By the way, the AM-FM radio, and therefore the plate, was standard equipment on the 1963 and 1964 New Yorker Salon model. So if you know of anyone with a junked New Yorker Salon, please let me know.
