It could be that the TNT (Twin snorkels N Twin exhausts) engine was replaced with a standard 440. In 1966 there was a TNT package that included the 365 HP engine, front disk brakes, heavy duty suspension, dual exhausts, twin snorkel air cleaner and a few other goodies. I think these items could be ordered separately, but if your car has all of them, it very likely started out with a TNT engine.
