dont change the carbs port the heads! GO BACK TO YOUR STREET ROD BACKGROUND THANKS! THREE HUNDEREDED LARRY -----Original Message----- From: Marilyn James <jmrmfj@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Nov 27, 2005 1:08 PM To: 300 Club <chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: [Chrysler300] Carter AFB Carburetors Hello 300 group, I'd like to thank everyone answered my electronic ignition question. Now I have another problem with my 1961 G AFB carburetors. After rebuilding them they are running rich. I want to ask about the big adjustment screw in the middle of the 2 idle mixture screws, what is it called and what it does? My service manuals do not show this adjustment screw. Also I would like to know has anyone used Edelbrock carbs on the long rams? I realize I'm going to get mail from the 300 purists about not changing these carbs, but it would be another alternative. I guess I'm having trouble getting away from my street rod background. Thanks ahead for your replies, Jim [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] To send a message to this group, send an email to: Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx For list server instructions, go to http://www.chrysler300club.com/yahoolist/inst.htm Yahoo!
