Hi Gang, Don't always believe what you see in the movies!! The opening of this clip is copied from the "300 Idea" a film put out by Chrysler to tout the '62 300. The scene of the F on the test track was shot, no doubt, at the Chrysler proving grounds near Chelsea MI. In the copy of the movie that I own, the car is pictured going the other direction that is to say from right to left on the screen. I think someone has inadvertently gotten a reverse image of this scene for the clip that is available on the server. Thus, the impression that the car is a right hand drive. This movie is widely known among club old timers. I remember back in the days of REEL movies, Andy Jugle, from Chicago would bring along his projector and lots of "old car movies" to everyone's delight. I always looked forward to seeing this one for sure. There is also a shot in it that pictures a white C coupe on the high bank curve under full throttle, maybe taken at dusk, as the headlights are on and show up well, that almost takes my breath away every time I see it. Would make a great mural on the side of my sleeper! Dave Schwandt [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------ Yahoo!
