[Chrysler300] A question for K owners

HI,

Have any of you had your console out lately? I've been trying to put mine
into the car and it won't fit. The bracket that holds the shifter in place is
centered on the hump, and so is the shifter. Trouble is, the slot on the
console for the shift lever is off to the left of center. Looking at the shifter
and comparing it to the one in the 64 service manual, they look different, but
they both hook onto the bracket the same and they both have the same 4 screw
holes on top to attach to the console. I guess it's possible that someone
sometime put a different shifter in it, but they both look like they attach the
same. Any ideas?

Anybody have a shifter for a Torqueflite K for sale?

Thanks,

George Clineman
