Oregon lets vintage autos display plates that correspond to the year if the car is at least 30 years old.....the only problem being that the cars are then restricted to being driven to parades or car shows or on special occasions. I suppose if you were seen driving around locally quite a bit an officer might pull you over and have a chat with you about getting regular issue plates. Here it is a one time fee that was $ 45 the last time I did one this way..........that's not bad, but you have to have 2 plates (front & rear) and sometimes it is hard to find a matching set of old plates. I have found some for 7 of my oldest cars........my Chryslers both have modern personalized plates on them.......... 57 300C........and..... GOT FNZ .............Rusty Roe [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Sponsor --------------------~--> Get fast access to your favorite Yahoo!
