Don't know about gloss levels but do have a follow up on the gold paint. Several of the paint brands I've used are prone to spotting and staining of the metallic elements in the paint. Even fingerprints will darken the metallic eventually and look like smudges. It doesn't come off. The silver metallics used on the engine blocks does the same thing. I've been clear coating these colors just to stop the staining. Light coats of clear won't look so glossy.
