Greetings, Thanks to the many well-informed members in our Club who responded to me about trying to use a 413 truck engine for my H. I learned the differences between the car and truck engines extend throughout the whole engine - possibly even to the block. It really surprised me. Actually, Fern Rivard provided me most of what I need to rebuild the 413 for the H I'm starting to restore, so I'm in pretty good shape. I just thought this truck engine might be another option. If anyone has a use for this 413 truck engine, it is in a fire truck (1970 Dodge C800) and is supposed to have fewer than 12,000 miles. It has a 5 spd x 3 spd trans. It is located in Stanley/Boyd Wisconsin (west-central area) at Stanley Truck Salvage. The owners name is Buzz Alterman and phone is 715-644-5548. Buzz said the price was $750. Buzz said he also had 53 and 54 Dodge Hemi truck engines (one of each). Thanks again, Carlton Schroeder Eagle River, Wisconsin [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------ Yahoo!
