After driving the mighty G at 50 -65 mph for a couple of hours over flat terrain (here in Florida) I noticed a new sound. When coming to a stop there was a pronounced clanking (more than one clank) coming from rear just before I stopped. It sounded like slop in the lash. I could minimize the sound by keeping my foot on the accelerator ever so lightly while braking. After the car sat for awhile I went 15 miles at varied speeds and there was no sound. It seems heat related. My starter is sensitive that way. After I drive the car it starts harder than when it is cold. Input appreciated. (ps..the car ran great otherwise save the thirst for high test) Gary Naples 74 and sunny not a cloud in the sky ------------------------ Yahoo!
