The installation of an electric fuel pump appears to be a good fix to some starting problems. Has anyone found a satisfactory electric fuel pump for a 6-Volt positive ground car? I recently saw an old photo of a Kiekhaefer crewman hitting the fuel pump on a C-300 with CO2 to keep it from vapor locking during a pit stop. That solution does not appeal to me but suggests the problem has been around for a while. C-300'ly, Rich Barber Brentwood, CA 1955 C-300 ------------------------ Yahoo!
