OK now. I don't want everybody laughing. I had some bad luck with electric fuel pumps, So while laying in bed one night thinking about a universal way to fix the fuel problem. I got up and went to the garage and got into my box of old Midget and Sprint car parts. Low and behold I still had my old hand operated fuel pump that i used in the old days. So I took a couple of large sheet metal screws and attached it to the outside of my 300F drivers door, right behind the spotlight and then ran a rubber hose to a fitting ( I used a tie strap to hold the hose to the right rear antenna.to hold it up). that I brazed to my gas cap. Now if I start running low on fuel pressure I just put the window down and start pumping the tank to 5 lbs of pressure. It will last for almost 50 miles before I have to pump it up again. I know this is old fashioned but it works great. It doesn't look to bad when I polish the Knob. Gary Barker ------------------------ Yahoo!
