I fully agree with that statement, especially that the customs broker will save one a lot of hassle. There are no customs duties on American vehicles returned to the US, and there are no emmissions requirements on vehicles built prior to 1967. Since this is an American built car, there should be no problems with that in any event, as long as it hasn't been modified.
