John and all: Back in the '50's when I had my 1956 Dodge D-500, I would warm up the engine, remove the valve covers, reattach the plug wires and start the engine. With a long screw driver in the adjusting screw, the other end against my ear, and a box end wrench on the tightening nut, I would loosen the nut, turn the screw driver in or out until the ticking noise disappeared and then tightened the nut. Got the correct gap every time and a quiet engine. Never lost a drag race. Dan Reitz Northridge, CA [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------ Yahoo!
