Hi folks, It's always something. Looks like my blower switch has carried it's share of current over the years. I have installed a new wiring harness, and as I was examining the blower switch to attach the wires and mount it in the dash, I could see that the Hi speed terminal (the one with the green wire attached) was very brittle and dark (kinda burnt). I have an NOS blower switch from a non-a/c car, but I think the non-a/c cars had 2-speed blowers, not 3-speed, as there is one less terminal on the NOS non-a/c switch than there is on the a/c switch (3 terminals instead of 4). So, a couple of questions: Anybody have a 4 terminal blower switch they'd like to sell or trade for an NOS 3 terminal switch? Is there anything wrong with only using 2 of the speeds of my '3 speed' motor, say medium and hi, and skipping low? Any comments appreciated.
