[Chrysler300] '61 G TIRE SIZE & TORQUE CONVERTOR

HI ALL, THANX TO ALL THAT REPLIED TO THE ABOVE INQUIRY. I FOUND THE REASON I
COULD NOT FIND AN 8:00 X 15 TIRE BY A MAJOR COMPANY IS, NO ONE MAKES THAT
SIZE. I'LL HAVE TO GET A COKER IF I WANT AN ORIGINAL LOOKING TIRE IN THE TRUNK.
                                                                      AS FAR
AS THE TORQUE CONVERTOR, IT IS NOT A LOCKUP, IT IS EXTERNALLY BALANCED, & THE
2 HALVES MUST GO TOGETHER AS THEY COME APART. ROYAL HAS REBUILT SEVERAL, FOR
CLUB MEMBERS, BUT NEVER OUT OF THE PARTS PILE. MEMORIES ARE SHORT, WHEN DEALING
WITH HUNDREDS OF CONVERTORS, ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY'VE BEEN OUT OF THE PARTS
MAINSTREAM, OVER 20 YEARS. THANX
AGAIN, STEVE ESTOK, IN CLOUDY PUNTA GORDA, FL
