I'm sure the Shah had many cars but only one Ghia bodied car has for decades been known as the "Shah of Persia Chrysler 300" and the car shown at http://www.autohobbydigest.com/MysteryChrysler.html is similar but is not the car. There was also a '38 V16 limo "Shah of Persia Cadillac" and a '39 "Shah of Persia Bugatti" and a '56 Eldorado Biarritz convertible "Shah of Persia Cadillac" and a '58 Fleetwood 75 limo "Shah of Persia Cadillac" and a '59 model 5000 "Shah of Persia Maseratti" for example. I can't find a web link to a picture of the Shah of Persia Chrysler 300 but I can supply front and back of a genuine Ghia Carrozzeria photo to anyone who asks. I do have the Burgess-Wise book and believe it has its inaccuracies including the labeling of that particular photo on page 66 just as on page 64 it calls the Chrysler Dart the "Super Gilda". The Dart was just one of numerous cars built around the basic Gilda design precepts. Wayne [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------ Yahoo!
