Lake Tahoe is 6200 ft. ASL .Some of you will experience high altitude sickness (extreme fatigue and hurting joints ,bad feeling) it is not a big problem and goes away in a couple of days.Unless you have hart problems (especially if on nitro) check with your doctor.Sun Burn is A problem ,not because you are a mile closer to the sun, but you have a mile less atmosphere to shield the rays.Bring block and a wide brim hat.Its vary dry in August with Humidity in the teens and 20es .Ladies bring your moisturiers. The tempture will (can) swing from high 80 in the day to the 30 es at night.Nice for sleeping but sometimes causes Sinus problem.Your cars will run on lower Octane Fuel ( faster burning) I used to burn premium at Sea level and switch to regular in the mountains.Dosent matter now with the computers.I don't want to rain on the praide. But you guys and gals don't need suprises.Hope to see you all at Tahoe.
