Good morning, I was able to get the G out of storage last week for a day. I am not happy with the sound of the stereo (front speaker in particular). I installed a Hidden Audio receiver and CD changer in the trunk. I used their "dual cone" front speaker to sit in the dash. There are 2 - 6" x 9" speakers in the rear package shelf. I believe the issue to be the dual cone speaker in the front. Has anyone mounted maybe 2 small mid range speakers in this opening? Any other ideas? The tunes are extrememly "muddy" and I think it can e much better. I will not mount speakers in the door panels. There is no room under the seats for speakers. Alternatively, I blew out the initial mufflers after a hundred miles or so. I then installed the new Flow Master mufflers only because they were supposed to be more quiet than the typical Flow Masters. The end result is a very nice quiet sound on the highway, but a terrible resonance in town around 35 mph. So, good sounding tunes are needed for in town cruising. Please let me know your experience with speakers. Best regards, Richard Osborne ------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Sponsor --------------------~--> Help save the life of a child.
