RE: [Chrysler300] 300 "L"

Johnnie, with regards to the vinyl top for your '65. I have been searching
off and on for three years for the correct material for my '65 300 and have
now given up. SMS Upholstery in Oregon was very helpful in helping me try to
locate the right vinyl but in the end the closest match wasn't close enough
for me. That particular pattern was only used on '65 Chryslers and some
Dodge/Plymouth C-bodies.

I have a parts car with a near perfect original top but I highly doubt I'll
ever manage to remove it without tearing it. I even considered drilling out
the spotwelds, cutting the tops off and replacing the entire hardtop in an
effort to keep the original vinyl. For now, my car will be cruising around
with a painted top.

If you have any luck locating a source, please let me know.
