As for the headlight switch, if fading memory serves, theres a sneaky
spring-loaded button on top of the swith unit that needs to be pushed to
release the knob pull rod thingy.

Paul,
Once you remove the  Chrome Pushbutton Bezel  you have to remove the 2 nuts 
that hold the Turn signal switch to the bracket. I thought that the 2 nuts 
were accessible right from the front , but I may be wrong and if so you have

to reach from behind the dash to get at them.  Hope this helps...Just going 
by memory.
