Ray, Tell me about it! You are never done! Is it an addiction? If so its not a bad one!? I look at it in phases. Phase one was to get the car to the point of driving and respectability...Category 3 to almost 2. Then phase 2 came along with correcting little paint blemishes that turned into repainting the whole car and redoing /replacing trim work to give it that close up impressive look....go to car shine and shows now with great pride in driving and ownership! Phase 3 is what I'm into now....the final little details that golly mean substantial disassembly of areas you didn't explore before.....vent window assemblies, driver and passenger window chrome and rear quarter window chrome...for that concours quality looking driver...where I WANT TO BE...to have a gee whiz driver that you can't wait to drive to a 300 meet! NO TRAILER QUEEN FOR ME but to the point where you never let it out of your site when you have it out of the garage! This is where the anxiety sets in to see if you should tally up all those receipts you've saved to document the work put into the job...tens of thousands of $$$$!!! Oh well, you can't drive a certificate of deposit or a stock certificate. It is part of my portfolio! 300'ly, ROB KERN ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ray Jones" <hurst300@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: <JPMODL@xxxxxxx> Cc: <Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, January 29, 2005 11:43 PM Subject: Re: [Chrysler300] Survivor Question. Where does it stop? If you rechrome the bumpers then the paint starts looking shabby. And the rest of the britework starts looking dull. Best to leave it alone until it gets bad. 'cause it never ends! Ray Nifty neat stuff gonna be ahappening at the Spring Meet...Y'all gotta come and play with us!
