Joe, Andy and list, Her is the company that converted my clock to quartz movement: Instrument Services Roscoe Ill (they moved form Wisconsin) 800-558-2674 815-623-2993 The EL lighting was retained, and the clock does make a ticking sound. The second hand does not move in quick jerks, i.e.; a dead stop and then move again, but it does have a pulsation to it, not a smooth sweep. These would be important considerations to me, since the updates would not affect the original feel of the car. Andy Mikonis in Chicago _
