Paul: At New York National Speedway in Center Moriches, LI. It was an AHRA track, but I think that is immaterial - the 343 package was a Mopar offering (albeit perhaps dealer installed, but I am not sure). Nonetheless, it was recognized at the sanctioned level by NHRA, I am sure. Why anyone would give you grief about your 300C is beyond me. There are many other cars that were far more "borderline" as far as NHRA or IHRA rules than a 300C! NHRA and IHRA ( mid 70's ) They took one look under the hood of my 300-C and Automaticlly I was placed in SuperStock. There was No convincing the track folks that the car was Stone stock, No Optional under the hood treatments. -- Paul Holmgren Hoosier Corps #33, L-6 2 57 300-C's in Indy To send a message to this group, send an email to: Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx For list server instructions, go to http://www.chrysler300club.com/yahoolist/inst.htm To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to: Chrysler300-unsubscribe@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Your use of Yahoo!
