58 D electrical night-mare

Just got the car back from the top being put on and these are the symptoms:

With key on:

left(drivers side) tail light and brake light don't work

blinkers do not work(all) replaced the flasher

with blinker lever in the off and in the right turn mode the breaker blows when brake is applied

with blinker in left turn mode and brake applied breaker doesn't blow but blinkers do not work

I just replaced the turn signal hardware on the chance the switch was bad. No help.

Any ideas out there?
