Frank, there's no problem with installing a grease fitting for the rear
wheel bearings if you're the one who's going to be maintaining the car. The
danger comes when someone else does it and doesn't realize that those
fittings shouldn't be lubed very often, and then only with one or two shots.
Seems like on cars so designed, the problem is either that the bearings
never get greased, or it gets overdone and the inner seals get blown out!
