Thanks for the lead-in.. If a '57 Torqueflight is leaking at the kick-down lever shaft seal... 1. is the fix do-able from the outside? -just slide in/on a new seal? 2. where can I find a new seal? The C coupe began bleeding profusely last evening from the kick-down shaft area. Back on jack stands. tahnsk. mike v -----Original Message----- From: Don Verity [mailto:d.verity@xxxx] Sent: Saturday, April 12, 2003 1:37 PM To: chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx; pennsy300@xxxx Subject: Re: [Chrysler300] Questions Hi Terry, If you have to take it out, you may have to remove the parking brake drum and backing plate to get it far enough back to clear the bellhousing. I had to do this on a 56 NYer convert that I put a torqueflite into. More than likely though, it's leaking from either the shift cable, kickdown lever shaft seal, or the neutral switch. 300ly, Don ----- Original Message ----- From: <pennsy300@xxxx> To: <chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, April 11, 2003 11:09 AM Subject: [Chrysler300] Questions > Hey, you transmission weenies out there, I've got a question.
